Carpenter Bee II returns to the Beesley and Fildes logo but inverts its tone. The familiar bee is nearly lost beneath dark paint, its form reduced to a faint trace. The image carries the weight of use, its surface marked by labour and time rather than design. Through this erasure, the work turns a commercial emblem into something personal, reflecting on repetition, exhaustion, and the quiet persistence of making.
